How are we different?
- We have adopted a Business Foundation, the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) https://sdgs.un.org/goals
- We commit to Democratic Governance of our business. As a host, you will get a say in the direction of FairBnB.
- We will not permit our business resources to be used, or to profit from conflict zones or areas where democratic or human rights are being violated or are in jeopardy.
- Specifically, we will not initially offer services or support in:
- The Russian Federation,
- Israel or the occupied Palestinian Territories
- or the United States of America.
- As an introductory offer, we will remit the entirety of your first two bookingswith us to our new hosts.
- After 100 days of bookings in a calendar year, we will remit 30% of our entire commission collected back to our hosts or your nominated charity approved by the FairBnB Board (details will be published later).
- For the first 6 months we will NOT provide insurance cover for your guests. We believe that there are sufficient commercial options to insure your property, and in order to keep costs low, we will not be providing cover. You will be required to provide an indemnity to FairBnB and a waiver until a platform insurance cover can be established.
We will give you credit for any rating you presently have on any other booking site – after verification. Please note that you will have to get permission in writing from the author of the review to republish any review. .
